About ScreeLabs
Sure footing on shifting ground.
We're a software studio built for the AI era: small, senior, and obsessed with shipping software that works.
Our name
Why “Scree”?
Scree is the loose, broken rock that collects on a mountainside. It's some of the hardest ground to cross: every step shifts under your feet. Experienced climbers don't avoid it. They learn to read it and move across it quickly, with balance.
Building software right now feels a lot like that. AI tools change month to month, best practices are still being written, and it's hard to tell what's real progress and what's hype.
ScreeLabs exists to help teams cross that ground. We do the hard work of figuring out what actually works, then use it to build your product faster without losing our footing on quality.
Our mission is to bring your ideas to life by using AI to bring it to life faster and cheaper.
What we value
How we work
Craft over hype
We use AI because it makes the work better and faster, not because it's trendy. If a simpler solution works, we'll tell you.
Honest by default
Realistic estimates, clear trade-offs, and early warnings. You'll never have to guess where your project stands.
Ownership, both ways
We take responsibility for what we ship, and you own everything we build. No lock-in.
Leave it better
Tested, documented, and maintainable. Whoever works on your code next should be glad we were there first.
Our approach
Where AI helps, and where people decide
We think you should know exactly how your software gets made. Here's how we split the work.
AI does the heavy lifting
- Drafting code, tests, and documentation
- Exploring and explaining existing codebases
- Generating UI and prototype variations
- Flagging bugs, security issues, and edge cases
- Handling repetitive migration and refactoring work
People stay in charge
- Product decisions and priorities
- Architecture, data design, and security
- Reviewing and approving every change
- Judgment calls on quality and trade-offs
- Every conversation with you
Let's find your route.
Whether you have a detailed spec or a rough idea, we'd love to hear what you're working on.
